Emily Pataki is the current Vice-President and District 2 Director of the Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) Board of Directors. PEC is the nation’s largest electric cooperative with over 225,000 member-owners and roughly 1 million people served. As Board Vice-President, Ms. Pataki has helped steer PEC through several rate reductions, a new system-wide software implementation, and a host of other operational transitions. Ms. Pataki was first elected to the PEC Board in 2014, at which time she became the first Director-candidate to defeat an incumbent Director in a PEC Board election. In June 2015, her Board colleagues elected her Vice-President.
Ms. Pataki is active in Texas politics and legislative affairs, particularly in Williamson County, where she lives with her husband, Ted, and two children, Stephen and Marianne.
